Just popped up on eBay, located in Crown Point, Indiana. The description below is from the seller. I don't know the seller or the car; just posting the info:
Very rare '66 Mustang High Country Special convertible. Do your homework, the High Country Special Edition Mustangs are some of the rarest editions ever produced by Ford. Only 33 HCS convertibles made in 1966, this one is 1 of 9 produced in Timberline Green and listed in the Mustang Registry. Recent exchange with the keeper of the Registry confirms this, can provide email. It is unknown how many still exist, I challenge you to find one in Timberline Green like this one. Selling for my Dad who can't muscle the manual steering any longer. 3-spd manual. He has owned it for the past 24 years and drove it very little. A PPI was conducted in September by Dan's Classic Cars in Homewood, IL (not me Dan, just a coincidence) with clean record. Water pump was replaced. New battery. The car runs and drives great and needs nothing to begin enjoying this rare classic. Super clean in and out and looks great! Can provide link to complete inspection record and feel free to call Dan and ask about the car. Here is your chance to get your hands on a rare piece of Ford Mustang history and have much to talk about at Cars and Coffee! Happy to produce cold start video to serious bidders.
