Listed on ebay too. Kind of what I am looking for. Body and paint look good BUT IF I am reading correctly, it sounds more like a project if all the mechanicals have to be gone through including rebuilding/replacing the engine. (tranny too?). For BIN of $34,000.00 am I missing something?

No, you're not missing anything. It's overpriced for the condition and potentially required repairs & upgrades (engine, suspension, brakes, etc.) Even 'survivors' require attention in a myriad of areas to make them roadworthy.
It seems like you're looking for a basicly 'done' roadworthy car with specific options & color requirements. One may eventually show up. All you can do is be patient and watch the various ads.

I was able to get additional pictures and information on the car. He purchased this from the Original Owners son and has supplied me the assembled date on the block it is within 15 days of the car being built. This car has be in the registry since 2011.

Car is listed on Hemmings now and the owner has supplied the AD with a short walk around video.

The date on the block is encouraging, but what about the S/N on the block? Matching numbers?

Any estimates of rebuilding the engine/trans/brakes etc? I don't see replacing the engine unless the block is cracked and un-repairable. Best to keep the original drivetrain as it would affect the value. I quit restoring/or having them restored (over 70 Mustangs including (8) 1967-1969 Shelby's over the past 45 years). My old mechanic who retired used to joke that my motto was "Buy High, Sell Low, Make it up in volume". Its hard to find honest repair shops in FL.

I think you’ll be over $6,000 by the time you’re done with engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, etc., if there are no surprises.
