Weird no Cs script or holes for it in both old and new photos, or mustang script on fenders and taillights cut out wrong and strange backing plate. This car needs a Marti report to prove its a cal special. Certainly a very odd car 289 2v c4 in my opinion not worth 42

It may be an HCS. We need a Marti report. It has the correct taillight panel. For some reason they blacked out the chrome taillight bezels, probably bad chrome.

The engine they're pulling out in that picture is NOT a 289.

The engine they're pulling out in that picture is NOT a 289.

Looks like a 351C-2V engine.

In the photo of the passenger side, is there a flaw under the rear fender/door gap that looks like a punch mark?

[Restore]

What I was concerned about the cut outs on the taillights is no holes for screws for the backing plates (which are missing) there is one hole present in drivers side but it looks to be in wrong place. Bad pictures makes it difficult. Without a Marti a highly suspect car. Even with a Marti I would be examining car for panel replacement work

I agree definitely a 351c coming out.
