Yes, and a lot problems for 54,000 , gt exhaust on non gt car, yellow paint on doors , pony seats and door panels, plastic after market rear interior quarters, annoying that if going to make it pony interior why would you keep standard dash , And most glaring has badge in wrong place

From what I know, based on 27 years of HCS ownership and long ago conversations with Bob Teets: In 1966 Ford produced over 600,000 Mustangs. Only 333 of those were HCS cars. They all came to the Denver DSO via a train that carried all 333 Mustangs. All the HCS Mustangs were produced in the San Jose Ford plant. There are only 3 colors of '66 HCS cars; Timberline green, Columbine Blue (the state flower of Colorado), and Aspen gold. The metal HCS "badge" was installed at the local Ford dealership, and there is no "standard" , designated, or rule, that determined the location of the aforementioned badge. The HCS Mustang's were a sales promotion by Ford trying to boost sales in the Denver area.

The above is the best of my knowledge. I do not wish to argue with anybody: these old cars are supposed to be fun.

Thanks! So definitely noting "special" about them other than 333 produced. Probably not many left.
