Yes I believe it is. I spoke to the owner and she said that her husband owned it for 25-30 years at least. He had it when she met him. Paint has some chips and windshield is cracked. One tire is flat. She did not know what engine was in it but it does have an automatic tranny. Runs good she claims.

Price....are you sitting down? $27,900 or best offer.

If anyone is interested it is available.

If 1 tire is flat and windshield is cracked makes one wonder how old the picture is they are using for the ad?
I would also hope they plan on fixing the tire and at their asking price the windshield as well.

I thought the price was a little steep for the condition, year and model Don. Wasn't that year HCS a dealer installed badge only, over special factory paint?

I thought it was a pretty car in the picture but thought the asking price should be below the $10,000 bar, assuming a 289 V8. Did they have 390's in those years?

What do you all think? Mark.

I'd agree, too high, unless there are some hidden goodies that I can't see.

Mark;
If I'm not mistaken you are correct about the badge identifying the HCS for that year. "1967" was also the first year for the 390 in the Mustang. Looking at the pictures I'm not sure if those are fog lights in the grille or what (if they are they are incorrect). Just because the car is a 67 HCS I wouldn't pay that much for it. They really don't give a lot of info on the car. I'd just like to know how old that picture is?

Mark, I noticed you are from Conifer. My wife and I moved to Houston from Littleton a year ago and, as nice as Houston is, we sure miss Colorado.

If you are ever in the Tiny Town area I'd highly recommend taking a side trip up to Mt Lindo Cemetery. I know, I know, :-\ but you won't believe this place, and it has the most amazing views. It sits on a plateau right above the cross. In fact, you can look over the rails and see how the cross is built. It's not one big cross, but separate light panels. There is also a family estate up there with a telescope in it so people can look at Denver. Look for the McGrath estate on the East side of the cemetery.

I was in charge of building all the cremation memorialization product up there, and will be there the week of June 6th to finalize the mapping, probably that Tuesday afternoon. If you or any of the other Denver folk get a chance come on by and I'll take you on a tour.

Arlie, yes I drive by Mt Lindo every day on the way in to work in Englewood. I never have been up there but will be in Arizona for part of the week of the 6th. I will be back on Tuesday and may get a chance tostop by and say hi. Send me a PM and let me know the hours you are there, I always wanted to check out the cross. If the weather is good I will may drive the HCS, Mark.
