More information would help. Automatic or 4 speed? Color, which is not important for price, but nice to know. A/C? Deluxe Interior? Vinyl Top? Consoles? Color Interior? These things are all important, well some of them anyways. Any body damage? You say no rust, and complete. How is the fiberglass parts, and does it have a Marti Report to authenticate a GT/CS? how much of the 390 stuff is on the motor? you can easily spend 3-4k for correct air cleaner, s tube, heat shield, brackets, intake and other related "stuff".

What I would do is take a LOT of photo's and post them on this site. Site members will looks at them and than give you some outstanding feedback, some good some bad - but what you hear will allow you to make an informed decison. I know by experience. As they say 2 heads are better than one - in this case you will have dozens of "heads" looking.

Best of luck. Doug

Soryy for limited info, no accidents , 4 speed , console, blue color , black interior, AC, The air cleaner has two screens with a vacuum tube on the drivers side. S on the intake, 25k miles on the car, has documents, original purchase order and records.

I have until Monday night to buy it. wont have time to post pics , I was trying to get a ball park figure .

I would say needs to be repainted , carpet, just been sitting for a long time.

Does not sound like a 1968 air cleaner. Sounds like a 1967 air cleaner.

Does it have the Thermactor smog system? 1968 style? Those parts are pricey to replace. Ford numbered Holley? should be C8OF-C.
