OK - So I am putting my shopping list together for the AC interior parts and am wondering about the Deluxe and Standard finishes for the driver and passenger vents. Questions:

1) Are the standard Vents molded with the pimple finish and sprayed black? Are these super hard to find in good condition?
2) Does the dlx driver vent/control get any wood grain or painted treatment or does it just stay all chrome?

Anyone with original photos would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

The Standard interior A/C outlets (Center & Right) have Black 'krinkle' applique's glued on. The driver's A/C control panel is a flat black painted surface. (They are tough to find, but they can be freshened up if not damaged.)
The Deluxe interior A/C outlets (Center & Right) have Woodgrain applique's glued on. (Available from parts suppliers)
The driver's A/C control panel is painted a Brown surface. When I converted my interior to Deluxe, I used ACE Hardware's Leather Brown Satin aerosol. I then used a White lacquer stick to fill in & freshen the lettering.

Neil
(If you want, send me the control panel and I'll "Deluxe" it for you.)

Neil - Thanks for replying so fast!!! The car is originally a standard interior, but I might be going DLX if I can't find a right standard "krinkle/pebble" finish...it seems that the dlx stuff is more common. Once I get my stuff, I may just take you up on your offer! =D
