Agreed you can hardly put a quality paint job on for what a lot of them sell for. Sadly If you got the car for free it would be tough to restore it properly and make a profit on it.

You are absolutely right. A quality paint job can easily cost $15k and when u add up all the parts and repairs I can see it easily topping $30k plus. If anyone is interested I will be happy to go check it out and may be even snap some pics with owners permission. My GT/CS project may be temporarily on hold since I just bought a 49 Chevy 3800 truck with a rare 9ft bed. Oh well...
