Console Fix

I don't know if anyone else has this trouble but when we installed our console, the pad seemed to sag alittle above the radio. So...

We asked our interior guy to come up with a solution that made it look more finished. This is what he came up with.

He took a piece of cord, wrapped it with vinyl, sewed it in, then made a few small cuts on the backside of the cord. The allowed us to install it under the scews above the radio and retighten screws. It is pinched in by the console.

Anyway, thought we would share.

Paul

Looks like a good fix. I think mine is doing the same thing, although my focus is on my dash pad right now so I haven't looked real close. The exchange of ideas here is first rate.

That's a great idea. Looks like factory.

That looks great Paul. I repaired mine the exact same way last year when the metal tabs began to show. It almost looks factory.
