The double male plug, is a 1968 Mustang and Cougar, changed from the male/female plug in 1967. This is a Dynacorn reproduction part and it can be used in a 1967 with a plug change.
Next hurdle: My console seems to be from a non A/C car. I'll need to trim the front edges in order to clear the blower motor & A/C plenum.
Anyone got a photo so I can guesstimate how much to trim? It looks like I'll need to trim 2 or 3 inches. Also, is there a different attachment for the floor heat plenum?
Today I got the wiring hooked up for the console lights & gear shift indicator- working good.
In my profession the "R" is for retreat. It is so you can get out of trouble as fast as you get into it. The patrol cars don't have standard transmissions, but the R is the same in any event. I have on occassions slammed them into "P" before the car has come to a complete stop. I don't recommend this. LOL. Mike
