1968 Deluxe bezel

I need a measurement:
Can someone measure their Deluxe woodgrain panel above the glovebox for the location of the Mustang logo bezel?

Neil what is the size of that GT/CS California Special emblem you had at one time? There were two different ones. I have s photo but Tapatalk changed their format

The long one is 5.5" X .75".
The short one is 2.5" X 1" (IIRC it goes on a Cougar steering wheel pad)

Dad,
Not sure if it will help, but Val's is 2 and 1/4 inch down from the panel edge and 4 and 1/8 inch in from the right edge at this point. The right edge is curved so mark the 2 and 1/4 first. It is an original panel not repop.

Since we are on this topic Im wondering this dash bezel on my car is correct. I have not seen one like this., but I have not had a gt/cs very long.

That was created by Paul Newitt many years ago. There weren't any special interior emblems on the GT/CS or HCS.
