1968 Deluxe seatback bars

I can figure the lateral spacing of the bars visually in the stitched ribs, but don't recall the vertical measurement from the top of the insert. Can someone measure their car and tell me the correct distance?

Neil,
It may be a Mickey Mouse way of doing it but the tops of the buttoms seem to line up with the side latch.

No, I need the distinct measurement from the insert welting to the top of the bars.

I have seen the 4+ range over the years as well... I would think as a manually added thing there was a recommended distance, and then what the trim line actually did...:wink:
