Wow, what a beautiful day for Fabulous Fords at Knotts! It was touch and go if Buttercup was going to make it this year, but we got her home from the paint shop at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening - and spent Saturday getting things ready. The shop lost the side reflectors, so we had to drive to Larry's T-bird/Mustang parts and get them, then I couldn't find the new license plate tag (must be in a safe place) so had to go to AAA to get a new one. We're still having problems with the power steering so we ended up removing the belt so we could get to the show today. We drove in with Donna and Sherryle joined us at the show in her Brittney blue 390. I think we saw 4 other '68's at the show (including Sven & Louis) and there were quite a few late model cars (including our very own Joe in his go-fast 2007), and Jon was there in his Bronco. It was nice to get to visit with everyone.
So on our list of things to do is get the stripes on Buttercup, fix the power steering and....uh oh...as we were putting her in the garage after the show there is a big puddle of transmission fluid....
