Got the car today!

FINALLY! The truck came today and I received my 68! I drove it back and it was great. A few small things I need to address. The hood needs adjusted and such, but it is great. I am very happy with the buy, Rich! I just thought I'd let you all know. Smooth runner. The exhaust is very poppy, was that the way you had it? I got exactly what I expected and that doesn't happen much.

BTW, drove it to our family garage... Mom wants it! I was afraid to leave the keys, there.

Glad it all worked out! Was that 1910 Packard still on the truck?

Yeah, the packard was still there, haha. I'm pretty sure the guy wanted to destroy it, lol. He had some beautiful cars on there.

I drove it about 6 miles through Anderson back and another 10 miles to my home away from college (Mom just moved there). I noticed that the right hand front "triangle" window (vent window?) has a space between the seal and the frame and I didn't want it to get rained on.

I think most of the popping is a mild timing thing. I'll get it squared away. Email will sent back soon.
