Rob, with so much talk of setting up small blocks around here, we should get Paul, “PFslim” to remind us on how he engineered the 289 4v in this magnificent GT/CS. With low-end torque reminiscent of my ’69 351 Windsor, she pulls hard though the gears up to triple-digits with ease in a way to seemingly wax any J-code I’ve ever experienced!

I took the old GT 350 out for a 120 mile cruse yesterday. It is just amazing how much better you feel afterward. The only downer is how much she likes the gas.

...Gorgeous Shelby, Marty! One of my friends restored a GT500KR which he drives pretty regularly... These are indeed the happiest people to be around As for cost of gas - Renee will tell you of the guy at the Chevron who was topping off his truck while staring at her cars...dumped gas everywhere followed by an embarrassed grin and a compliment ;-)
