Had to look at that other thread with Marlon's Fly Ford suspension twice.

No one noticed that there is a GT/CS featured in that issue?

Owner is Joel Franckowiak of Pennsylvania.

The picture of the engine has me wondering if the publisher mixed up the picture from another red Mustang?

I don't know how the writer came up with "Feb 17th" as the beginning of GT/CS Production????? What?? That's WAAY off.

The idea that the '66 and '67 HCS having a lot to do with the idea for the GT/CS is WAAY off, too. As he states: "experts will argue".....(no, it's just wrong info).

I think it's a disservice to owners to print stuff like that. It's like saying that "they all had sequential taillights" in previous articles and books. Geesch!

When they write articles like this, they should know that GT/CS Owners are already ahead of the curve knowing what is "right or wrong".

What he's saying is---Those that have actually researched the cars, will say one thing, but it's my article and I know more than they do.

Joel's CS is absolutely gorgeous! And I am so glad to see another GT/CS in Mustang Monthly.

However, what happens is a magazine gets some photos to fill in some pages, and then one of their writers is assigned to quickly put some text together for an article. What's unfortunate, is I would have rather have read more about Joel's CS than "fluff" writing like that.

All Brad had to do is write me (through this site), and ask for some info....

It would be like me trying to write about Boss 429s. I would know "just enough to get into trouble", and instead, I'd approach Steve Strange, the Boss-9 Registrar., etc...etc...(good thing I'm not doing an article on the "440 Hemi", huh, Steve? LOL)

When the book is close to production, I'll get an article to MM. What I'd like to include is include many photos of our beautiful GT/CSs to really show them just how big and organized, and "together" we truly are.

I think the mopar guys would appreciate any article written about them, right or wrong. They're kind of like the scrawny kid with glasses that's the last to get picked for dodge ball!
