GT/CS on eBay

My experience on EBay is if the seller hedges AT ALL by saying something like "been on a shelf in the garage for 25 years and it worked last time I used it...", the item won't work. So this guy trying to pawn off the "CS" has already hedged and I'd bet that it ain't a CS!

At first glance it doesn't look too bad but a closer look reveals some disturbing issues.
The white dash and doors,
the invisible lower console (note the console shifter plate),
the chips all over the front of the hood,
the weird thing in the front drivers fender (antenna?),
the overspray all over everything,
the misaligned panels.

This car will probably take a lot of work just to make it presentable. I'm also willing it will need to totally stripped of paint since most people who overspray everything like that don't use quality paint either. It was probably a $199 alkyd enamel quicky job.

This car gives me bad vibes!

I've noticed that the bidding on this car has dropped off to zero bids in the past two days. I think the hype over this fake GT/CS has subsided a bit and people who know cars have taken heed and realize this is a clone. It probably has a lot to do with his disclaimer, where people are actually researching this car.

I don't think ebay would take action on your emailing folks in this case.
I don't know what you said but I'm sure you were professional about it.
You aren't telling folks not to purchase this car, your just telling them that you spent the $$ to verify if it's a real one (and it isn't) ... Buyer Beware!

What kind of idiot buyer would report this as an agrivation to ebay?

...then he posts a disclaimer to pass it off on the buyer to do the research giving them false hopes that this September built car is possibly a prototype. This is seems to be a pot of gold hype sale.

But he did at least tell people in the disclaimer about this website. If they are really observant and interested, they will come check it out here.
