or when a battery to starter connection becomes a huge light bulb filament (like what happened last night ;-)

Dang, I hate it when that happens. Hope it didn't leave you stranded and you're back up and running. Tim, speaking only for myself, I value your contributions to the site--and your work is first rate.

Thanks Steve:)

I knew the starter was on its way out on this one. It had been groaning for quite some time before it finally shorted and took the cables and solenoid with it. I only wish I was "ready" when it decided to "take my picture" ;-)

A quick trip to the auto parts store & I was back up & going in an hour :)

I think a matter of "trust" comes into play here. I noticed the new member has only one post. There is nothing wrong with that, however, it could just be someone who is trying to sell shirts. As you know, members here would rather work with someone they know they can "trust". Just my opinion.

Yes Paul, I believe you are 100% correct. Nonetheless, they are a professional source who is positioned to answer the bulk of the requests with a much larger product line already in place.

I am actually relieved that a nice alternative for the 07/09s now exists to fill the original void in a way that I would be foolish to compete in the long run.

I will still enjoy doing "personal one-off" type designs for our friends here (gotcha covered Joe:) in both '68s and "lates", but more for the joy in being unique & personal to you vs large orders of same/same...

Talking about things Tim does, he designed these for me. Since he did these I have added more decals though, but he does  work as to what I have seen.
