The GT350 restoration is coming along. The metal repairs are almost done and now check panel fit and gaps before starting body work.

I have been busy restoring every thing else. Here is the rear axel I finished last week.

Marty,
Is this your blue 68 Shelby??

Rob

Yes, it was in my shop fire. It was not burned but the smoke damage was so bad it required disassembly. I thought if I had to take it apart I might as well restore it.

I sat in it which is about as close to ever driving a Shelby that I'll ever get----except of course for my Poor Man's Shelby! :)

They really do not drive that much differently than a GT Mustang. However the cost of admittance is a bit more.

I had a great fathers day weekend. I sold our red 68 HCS and worked on the GT350 at R&A Motorsports to make it a roller for the trip home.

I had a bit of a problem with the choke piston. Dr. Rob was able to help me over the phone and I got it running today. I have a few bugs to work on but should be driving soon.

I finished the restoration a few week ago. Now she is all dressed up and no where to go. The first three MCA national shows have been canceled.

Here are a few pictures.
