Highly optioned 67 Fastback

I was at the Deer Park (WA) Dragstrip Reunion carshow yesterday and parked next to this 67 Fastback with an impressive list of options. I asked the owner if it was missing anything other than an 8 track and he didn’t think so. Here’s a few pics to enjoy.

Note the grey panel in the tail light area. The owner didn’t care for it but I thought it looked great.

The page has some great pictures of the dragstrip which was at the Deer Park Airport back in the day. The operator, Orville Moe built a really nice drag strip/1/2 mile circle track/road course in the late 70’s and I believe that was the end of the Deer Park facility. I never went to the DP track but have been to Spokane Raceway Park lots of times, both the straight line and circle facilities.

Beautiful fastback! Those rear panels are quite a rare option. I bought a set of repros and installed them on a 67 Coupe I had years back.

I still have spurts of 'seller's remorse', but I believe my Black GT/CS project will cure me.

The FB is pretty but as pretty as it is I wouldn't trade my GT/CS for it. Now trade it for a GT500KR? Let me think about that!
