History channel

By chance did anybody catch the history channel last night? The episode was about muscle cars. They talked about the Shelby car and how they got started. At the end they talked about the 429 : Outlaw: only two were made and one was totaled in transporting. Ford sent the cars overseas to entertain the troops. It showed the cars drag racing on a airplane carrier.

I did not see it, but will look for it. I believe one of those cars was destroyed in a shipping accident, and another still exists? Casey

They had a picture of the one that was destoyed in transit. A four ton crate was dropped on the car.

I've seen that one. If I'm not mistaken he actually owns the Outlaw now.

That's a decent show I have is scheduled on my DVR to tape all the time.

Somewhere, I have a picture of me standing next to the lawman at Detroit Dragway back in 1974. I was 14 at the time. I'll have to dig it out of the attic and post it. It was so sweet.
