1968 Hood twist locks help

Hi everyone.

So the hood went and got repainted and they took off the hoodl twist locks and installed them incorrectly after repainting (they don't pop up like the used to). Does anyone have any pics on the underside? I know there's a spring and a retainer clip but not sure how to get it to work?

I've searched through old threads here and pics in the gallery but can't find the pics.

Any help is appreciated.

Mine had the springs installed under the hood. I referenced the GT/CS guide and re-installed them with the springs on top of the hood part. Much better!!
