Ice Storm In Nebraska

Here are some pictures that was posted on Midwestmustangclub.com forum of the ice storm this past week. I am sure glad we haven't had it like this for a few years, and you must remember I live in Iowa.

Wow, I remember a few bad ones like that here in Minnesota and in South Dakota that we`ve went through. Ice causes tremendous damage.

We had the very same thing here several years ago (Winter 04) see photo. Lots of damage to trees, power lines, roofs and gutters. It's amazing this year we haven't even had any snow here in the columbus area. Temps have been anywhere from 5 to 15 degrees above normal. It's raining today and they expect possible snow tonight but, this will be the first.

We had a lot of ice here in KC as well. Luckily, we are in north KC where the ice was not that bad. I would say we have about 2 inches of sleet on the ground.

Here is some pics in Carthage, Mo. this year's storm sent by my daughters's friend, and she said they lost all there trees, but was some of the few that was never without electricity.

Now it hits here again, in Iowa. Here are pictures taken today after what started out to be rain and turned into snow, and is still snowing as of now little over 5 inches of snow after the rain we got, and it was just getting rid of the white stuff and had the 07 GT/CS out this past week for one day:sad:

Wow. What a difference in temps,,I spent the weekend in Palm Springs and got a sunburn. My daughter swam and was at the pool all day..Gotta love
