Haaaaahahahahahahahaha! Hey Arlie, if it won't fit under the hood, it should in the back seat. Fix it up with some corvette door handles and you're in business!

Highland green Pacer, Arlie you will look great in it! I think I would add duel exhaust to complete the Cool Factor.

Go for it Arlie! I bet those thunderbird lights placed on the back with a pair of Marchal's up front over the grill will make everyone here jealous! Going to take an antacid now....shane

...I always avoided parking next to them at supermarkets because of their seemingly 10-foot X 1,000 lb. doors! You could always tell when you were "dinged" by a Pacer. The body contour and fact that the seats were too far forward for its driver to "slither in" looked as though it was purpose-built to leave such an "impression".

...Okay, but my oldest brother had a first-year Gremlin X which he added a big Holley and heavy sway bars to the 304 / 3-spd package... That car was DARN quick, plus it gave him over 200,000 miles between 1972 & '79 (Navy pilot travels to FLA and TX) until it was totaled in a San Francisco accident. My mom & sis had Gremlins too, but they were nothing to write home about. Pintos & Vegas seemed to only live out the duration of their (rubber band) timing belts...

Arlie,
All I can say if you buy that car and take it to a car show everyone will know who you are!

You guys are crazy!!! Sort of reminds me of the blue collar comedy tour......you might be a redneck if you mow your yard and find a neon orange bobcat you lost years ago!!!!!

Hate to admit it but one of the cars I had in college was a Maverick Grabber with an orange interior. I bought it to "save gas" and not put miles on my Mach 1. I ended up selling it because I just couldn't stand sitting in it every day. Arlie, you just resurrected an old nightmare.

Steve,
Are you going to be able to force yourself to install the correct interior in your big Mustang?
