The 'Ron' that this advertisement refers to is Ron Miller. The same Ron Miller that used to own and run Ford Power Parts in Norwalk California. He is a car flipper and consignment car seller now.

Sounds like sellers remorse or sour grapes to me.

Interesting..

Your telling me if you saw the same pictures you used to sell the car with your personal house in the background that would not upset you? He does make it clear that its about using the pics being used without his permission and "Ron" not addressing the concern he voiced.

He does provide a jab over giving the pricing details but probably out of frustration of the guy not being professional. Guess its a matter of if your a personal seller versus an experienced flipper\seller whose corner your on.

Who knows the full story...

update...just read that the pics are not previous owners so my opinion which is usually worth 2 cents is now about 1 cent. Rebate check in the mail.

That is my whole point, I don't consider Ron a professional, and I am not even sure that he is a licensed dealer.
Reusing pictures to resell a car from the 'as found' location is tacky and degrading to the person that he low-balled.

Ex-Owners house in the background of pics for sale

Hi, I am Ron Miller and just read the posts regarding the Cal. Special that I am selling for one of my clients. I did not read the original post (it was deleted) but after reading the responses, I get the general idea.

Here are the facts:
1. I did not buy the car! I was hired by one of my clients to inspect the car, tow it and try to sell it for him. The car is now registered to him "David English" not me.
2. I did not negotiate the purchase price...I was present when David English talked to the owner and finally reached an agreement. I wrote up the purchase contract since there was no title and I am much more experienced at contracts than David is.
3. The pictures in question were taken by the new owner at the previous owners car port with the previous owners permission and emailed to me.
4. Yes, I did use some of the pictures....it shows the nice driveway the brick wall, but no address of the house and no dirty socks or anything embarrassing in the background. I will remove them from any ads that I place in the future including my outgoing emails..
5. I was asked once by the previous owner to stop using pictures that were shot with his permission in his backyard carport and I forgot to remove them. My guess is that he was upset that someone bought his car and was trying to make a profit from it and was fishing for an excuse to complain.
6. "LICENSED DEALER"...what does that have to do with anything??? No I am not a licensed dealer...but what does a piece of paper on the wall have to do with anything...when was the last time that you trusted a "new or used car dealer"??? Car Flipper?? I don't use that for a description of what I do, it sounds negative to me. I can give you an example of what happened 2 days ago...I sold a car over the phone to a good customer out of town (he has purchased 6 cars from me in the past), where I was only making $500.00 profit on it and using my cash to leave a deposit for him while he wired the $$ to my bank acct....45 minutes after the phone call I received a call from a good customer in Australia that was willing to pay full price for the car where I would have made $4,500 profit and I told him that it was sold already,,,he then offered even more to get the car and I told him NO.....Now how many "used car dealers" that you know would have taken the $$$ from Australia instead of keeping their word???????????
I very rarely read this website, so if anyone needs to contact me directly, please send me an email to: rpmron@gmail.com or call me at: 714-757-8437
Thanks for listening
