1968 Leaf Spring Clamps

I am working on my 1968 California Special and have a question about the rear leaf spring clamps. There are two types of clamps I have seen that are used for Mustangs that hold the leaf springs together. Does someone have a picture of their original leaf springs that show the correct leaf spring clamps that should be used. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for joining our family. Please tell us about yourself and your car. I don't have any photos of the correct clamps, but I do know when you install them, they need to face the same direction. There was no left or right side leaf springs. At SAAC 35, during judging, we discovered the direction of the clamps seem to be different between the big block cars and the small block cars. On the big block cars, the tab folded to the left, and on the small block cars all the tabs folded to the right. We had several examples to compare. I must say the big block cars we compared were GT cars, which may have something to do with the different spring rates and the direction of the clamps. Did I muddy the waters enough with this answer. Leaf Springs

Thanks for the replies. So the tabs on both sides of the leaf springs will fold to the right since I have a small block. I have two sets of clamps one is the correct type. The other are older NOS clamps. As you can tell by the pictures I have started the restoration after owning the car for four years. It is Wimbledon White with a two tone blue interior, power steering, power brakes, A/C, tinted windows, and deluxe belts. 289 automatic. Pretty solid overall but a lot of work was done to it. It came from California to Connecticut about 12 years ago but was not driven much. I will add some other photos. Thanks again.
