Mismatched Lucas Lights

Many NOS Lucas lights up for auction in Europe consist of one driving light and one fog light. A seller recently told me that they were originally sold that way in Europe.

Does anyone have any knowledge of whether or not that is true? I tend to think it is since so many auction sets are mismatched.

I've never heard of the mis-matched thing. However if you're serious about these, I'd request another picture to show the back sides to view how the chrome is.

Couldn't you have the back of the Marshall lights chromed? If the lights are exact otherwise then I would think this may be a cheaper way to go. Any opinion?

Certainly makes sense. I wonder if the backs are painted metal or plastic.
