Not to be negative, but it seems like there is no way to tell any bare bones J code coupe with a three speed from a Challenger Special. It sounds like just advertising hype. The "specially geared 3 speed" sounds like total BS to me. I just can't imagine a dealer spending the money to put different gears in a brand new 3 speed.

Why a 3 speed, why not a 4 speed if you're going to run a manual trans?
