Jbart, I hope you're giving that same recommendation to those at SAAC. Mud slinging should stop from both directions, agreed? That last post I read by PMN on the SAAC site was a real insult. I've read nothing from those here that would compare in tone and tenor. If you're going to lecture us on conduct here, then apply the rules to both parties please.

Why don't you list the people you have a problem with?
Alot of us have no idea what you're talking about because we are'nt even members at SAAC. If you've got a problem with someone then deal with them.

JB you are my friend. You've bravely spoken your mind. Some don't agree with you, and some may. We've heard what you have to say, so let's let this topic end.

And the rest of my friends- let's be nice to each other. Stop attacking someone who has stepped forward to speak his mind. Instead just say "Thank you but we respectfully disagree with your views."

Also take a look at the Forum guides comments. I found them critical of us and this site. I took offense to those comments and think that, along with PM's comments to be what provokes my anger and disappointment.

I've read this multiple times, following are the post up to the point of PMN posting, can't for the life of me see anything that should have provoked Paul or that would warrant Paul to respond in the fashion that he did, his response was out of line. And I totally agree that the forum guide was way out of line pointing any fingers our direction. The SAAC forum is a GT/CS forum, the topic is a GT/CS topic, we were invited to participate as we are GT/CS owners and the post was all POSITIVE. The first entrance of any negativity was PMN and the responses following Pauls negativity by GT/CS folks avoided responding to Paul up until David responded and his response was spot on with very direct and proper questions and comments. No personal attacks.

We had an awesome book signing at Tim O'Brien's last weekend in Grass Valley, California. Neil Hoppe was the long distance winner coming from North Carolina! Tim put on a huge weekend of fun and food. Renee' was the consummate cook and Cory Goulding the author of the "California Special Way of Life" book was on hand to sign copies!

From left to right Midnight Special (Tim O'Brien, wife Francis and son TJ not pictured) Sarge (Robert Murphy), Rvrtrash (Steve Wick), Hookedtrout (Cory, signing a book , his wife Trina, and son Jace) Clubpro ( Ron Moore of R&R Classics) Pony Gal (Renee' "fast lane" Foster) Roy Christainsen, Powell (Ralph and Karen Powell with Chad Godeke in between) Cougar CJ (Scott Behncke) me, and Scott Foote!

Tim O'Brien has 11 Mustangs! I lost count at 5 California Specials and one High Country Special! Two Mach I's, one with a 428 Cobra Jet! Tim's black 390 GT/CS 4 speed car set on the deck with sway bars was a ride of my life as Steve Wick was running hot behind him in Tim's 70 Cleveland powered 70 Mach! This was a fast ride with the tires protesting loudly!

We had so much fun! Weather was hot and perfect. We met Mike (somethingspecial) a local sheriff and owner of a concurs 1968 GT/CS during the weekend. Quickly we were under arrest for speeding and having to much fun! Mike is a big guy! Can't wait to see him behind the wheel of a GT/CS! TJ was given the keys to the Powell's new GT/CS. He had the weekend of his life! Thanks Ralph and Karen!

Cory Goulding signed all books and we collected each other’s signatures also. Aemoo28 (Amy) sent her book with me! It was also signed as was Jon Hanna's the founder of our site. A huge weekend!! Many thanks to Trina and Jace for letting Cory spend a huge amount of time to make this awesome book!

I think Tim is planning a bigger one next year! Amy and I are planning a get together in the Seattle area next year centered around the MCA Grand National visit to the Mustangs Northwest show July 15-18 2010!

THANK YOU Cory!!! Your book is the bomb! A book of the owners of these cars! And so much more!

"This is a book that I was not consulted for, and I DO NOT approve of it's publication--nor is it a Ford Licensed publication.

The GT/CS Registry DOES NOT approve of this book, either. I was not notified, nor invited to this event.

I was not asked for permission to use the "short history" section, which is propretiary, and copyrighted in my 1989 and 1996 editons.

This speaks volumes of the intent of this book, and what's (really) going on over at CS.com, and why I left it for SAAC Forums.
You don't have to think too far to connect the dots why this book was done.

Is he your problem and your responsibility to worry about? Why this rabid, almost irrational, attack on the members of this site?

Every time you post you raise more questions. How was he ran (sic) out of here? Please provide evidence of this.

Please read the thread with an unbiased view and show us where he was provoked. Please also keep in mind that Paul was told about the book in writing and he said in writing that he was OK with it, BEFORE it was completed.

And when you respond please don't forget the <shift> key. You'll find it down low on the keyboard on either side.

You can't believe how nice I've been so far, but again that's not the point. I asked you very specific questions about the unfounded allegations you made about the members on this site and you say to be nice?

So here we go again.

1. You allege Paul was run out of here and that is a very serious allegation so please provide evidence to back up your allegation or retract it.

2. You allege someone from this site provoked Paul in the SAAC book-signing thread and that is a very serious allegation so please provide evidence that there was a post in that thread that provoked Paul or retract your allegation.

3. I'll get to this one later when I've had time to copy and paste some of your posts. Are you sure you want me to do this?

4. You criticize members of this site by saying this, "paul left, he is not your problem, nor your resposiblity to worry about."
If Paul is not our problem, nor our responsibility, why is he your problem and responsibility? How are you different from the rest of us?

JBART, you opened a thread where you made some serious allegations and you provided no proof of those allegations. I'm not making you out to be the bad guy, you've done that to yourself. The only way out of the hole you've dug is to provide evidence for the accusations you've made.
