I thought that I'd post photos or info for you here--as "previews" for the book every once in a while.

The first one may be owned by some of you, but it's the backside of the GT/CS postcard that you could get at the dealer.

It's in color, too.

More to follow. Stay Tuned.

But wait! There's more...

Who knows what this is? This has never been seen before. Can you explain?

(I know the story.....and it will be in the book, too.)

Could be wrong but, to me it looks like the schematic for mounting of the Lucas lights on a Shelby based on the type of small square type pedestal that I see.

What's strange is it doesn't show the stud for the light or the square base being shown going at an angle to mount to the marchal bracket in the grille. Everything seems to be pointed streight down into the grille molding where there appears to be a hole drilled for mounting.

It looks like a modified Marchal bracket with a horizontal mount attached. Maybe it was supposed to accept the regular square base that was used on the Shelby's. It was probably dropped for one reason or another when they went with the posts that we are familiar with. That type of modified Marchal bracket would have positioned the light in the middle of the grille using the sqaure base. Just a guess..........?
