Can anyone identify these parts? It's been three years since diassembled the car (taking lots of pics) and I can't find any pictures with these in them. It's possible these got accidentally boxed up at the body shop.

Any help is appreciated!

Doug

Never seen such a thing.

Another body shop customer is probably looking all over for those.

I've removed virtually every part of 1968 Mustangs over the past 30 years. Those pieces are/were not among them.

I had kinda the same thing happen. I had some weatherstripping/seals in the car that I couldn't identify. I covered the car from top to bottom trying to figure out where they went and finally went back to the body shop to ask where they took them off of. Turns out it was from an Audi they had in and they'd just tossed the old seals in my car.

PS. One for the state flag and one for the US flag.

Most certanly not 68 Mustang parts. Was it on some kind of rotisserie? They look like some kind of pivot attachments?

Those really look like the hinge pivot from a 50's ford pick-up tail gate.

Well, thanks everyone. I guess I'll give them to my dad and let him take them to the body shop. It certainly had me looking in all the manuals, etc.!
