SAAC 35 & Mini GT/CS convention in Sonoma, CA

I am happy to report that the Shelby American Automobile Clubs National Convention will be hosted by the Nor Cal SAAC chapter at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) in Sonoma, California August 27, 28 and 29, 2010!

This event will include a California Special GT Mini Convention with special seminars and car shows ... and maybe some Ford Engineers and designers!

This should turn out to be the priemer Shelby and Mustang event on the West Coast for 2010. Stay tuned to both SAAC's and Nor Cal SAAC's websites for more information.

WE NEED YOU and your GT/CS to attend SAAC 35!!! (1968 and late models
invited!!)

Through the graciousness and interest of SAAC, the GT/CS community has been
invited to SAAC 35. In fact, it's being called a GT/CS MIni Convention!
it's August 27-28-29 at Infideon Raceway (formerly Sears Point) on the north
end of the San Francisco Bay, between Vallejo and San Rafael.

We need as many early and late model GT/CSs to attend as possible! Please
spread the word! (We already have folks coming as far as Arizona!)

So far, here are a few points of information:

1. Everyone can attend, but if you're not a SAAC member, you pay admission
per person per day.
IF YOU JOIN SAAC, as a member you get a 2-for-0ne admission per day for
family members.

2. So far, we are reserving a special GT/CS area has been reserved in the
Paddock. SAAC has opened a special Class in the Concours Judging for GT/CS
(1968 only), and a special GT/CS (new and old) class for the Popular Vote
Car Show is being developed at the moment. I will assist any and all who
wish to enter the car shows with judging information, details, etc. We need
at least three (early) GT/CS Mustangs to qualify for a class.

3. I will have a table at the Friday Night Social, as a meet-and-greet
location for GT/CS fans. We have quite an exhibit planned for this, with a
book signing (!!), new reproduction parts, and other neat GT/CS stuff!!!
