For all you Shelby experts. Did Shelby's come with Marchals installed on Lucas posts?

they are mounted correctly for the early '68 Shelby's. They mounted on posts to the grille surrond like Lucas.

Dumb question - were they mounted on posts or on a small square chrome washer about a half inch tall (see picture of my friend with a 68 Shelby)? I have seen many mounted with the chrome square washer, and I havent seen them pedestal mounted. I thought the pedestal was unique to the GT/CS. But I am not a Shelby expert. Casey

Looks like Doug backs up his Guru title again. Here is another '68 Shelby with Marchals on posts. Are they the same posts used on the GT/CSs? They look shorter.
