1968 Should GT/CS and HCS have the antenna in the back from Ford?

Just a thought since the GT/CS has Shelby fiberglass and other similarities maybe it also should have been equipped with the radio antenna in the back just like Shelbys but then again they were built as regular production Mustangs. What do you guys/gals think? Would that be a good idea back in 1968?

The antenna was in stalled at the dealerships so the customer could ask for the rear mounting. Most were front mounted. Marty
