Hi all,

A quick question. Does anyone know whether or not the deluxe (woodgrain) steering wheel was available in '68 as a stand-alone option, or did you have to order the Interior Decor Group to get it? I have heard it both ways, and have seen numerous cars with the woodgrain wheel that did not have the Interior Decor Group. The factory literature I have seen does not indicate that it was available seperately. "Mustang By The Numbers" by Kevin Marti also does not list it as a seperate option.

Thanks.

Bob Teets showed me a booklet he had (probably a saleman's reference) that had what options were available on '68's. He may be able to shed some light on it.

Even if you couldn't get the deluxe wheel as a factory option, I'm pretty sure that you could have gotten it as a dealer option ...
