would like to know which is the better way to go on puting in duels to have them stright out the back or to put them in the lower panel? And is it true that you loose HP when you put in duels? this would be for the gt/cs

Personally, I like the dual exhaust coming out of the lower valence and period correct dual chrome tips. The valence is available at many places and fairly easy to install.

I think dual exhaust would increase horsepower due to less back pressure. Of course sizing the pipes too small might decrease. There are plenty of bolt on packages available. I'm sure people here in the forum that can probably order them for you. Simple bolt install or close as your neighborhood muffler man could do it for you.

Did you forget about the sound? Good ole american V-8 with dual exhaust.........who needs a radio ?!

I opted for the 2 1/4" system. Choose the mufflers for the sound you want. Ron (clubpro) can get you the valance, 'H' pipe & correct tips. Just PM him. Then your local muffler shop can get the mufflers you want and install the system. The tips should extend 2 1/2" out of the GT valance. The aftermarket valances aren't a perfect fit- you'll probably have to do some fitting prior to painting.
