That actually used to be a popular trend, kinda like how hondas have big wings and stickers.

Edit: I personaly think its neat looking, althoug they are ruining a mustang its a great idea...id rather have a 4X4 mustang then it rusting in a barn.

I hope that's not a trend. What purpose could mounting a mustang on a truck chassis be? If you mounted a snow plow on the front, I guess that would be OKay? ??? Some hayseed will probably get it and destroy it mud drag racing or in a tractor pull. Too bad, what a waste.

I suppose he doesn;t have to worry about parking with other cars parking next to his Mustang and dinging his doors... ;D

That's a good point. Of course, if someone parked too close, the ladder required for stepping out of the car would be impossible to use. ;D

The guy selling it is from North Dakota... My guess is that the mod allows one to drive in winter through the snow and not have to worry about the body rusting out from all the road salt. Also, makes it easy to step out on *top* of the snow banks. Probably should be called a "Dakota Special" ;)

Saw a GT/CS on a 4X4 frame at the Rick Warner Ford Mustang show in the mid 80's. There may even be a picture of it in the gallery. It too was black but very well done. Someone has since purchased it and took it back off the frame and last I heard was taking it back to original. I'll bet the value goes right through the roof after those mods. ::)
