I have a new topic that has me curious. I'm guessing Marty will once again come through. The turn signal harness for the hood, where it attaches to the cowl/firewall. Mine just hangs! My ground wire is attached to the firewall below the drip edge. I know that is wrong! Every example I have found has the ground attached above the drip edge to the left and lower than the washer squirter. The pics I'm including are from the gathering of 14 GT/CS's and HCS's at the MCA Nationals in Lincoln, NE. Shout out to Marty Rupp for an incredible show! What the pics show are some harnesses above the retaining screw, some below. One hanger like mine, and John Murphy's that I had my hands on this past week. Now that I've done some research, I believe John's to be a 69-70 harness. His has a "push pin" style that is mounted under the drip edge. Lets see some feedback. I named the pics accordingly, hopefully that helps.

This is what is correct for a 1968 San Jose car. It was done differently in other plants. It is always best to look for correct information on unrestored cars.
