1968 Windshield and rear glass - number of trim clips?

I'm mostly looking for a sanity check on the number and size of trim clips for the windshield and rear glass. When I took my glass out a year ago I put the clips in 2 ziplock bags clearly labeled "windshield" and "rear glass" but it looks like I have more clips than are needed.

It seems very clear that the front windshield trim takes 22 small clips. But somehow there are also 3 longer clips in that bag, which don't go anywhere as far as I can tell.

My bag for the rear glass seems correct with 6 longer clips (roof line trim) and 7 small clips (lower trim) in addition to the screws for the two side trim pieces.

Photo below is from my windshield. No idea why there are 3 extra longer clips.

Photo below is for the rear glass, and appears correct.

I do not know where you got the three longer clips, they are not needed.

How many clip studs are on the windshield frame?
22. That's why I'm confident the 22 clips are right. And it's how many came in the pack of AMK clips I bought. ;)

Or those extra clips may have been left in the molding from another time.
