Hi Everyone, I’m on the search for a California special. I’ve always had a mustang but they have been 65 and 66s, so a 68 will be new to me. I’m located in Southern California. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Dave,
Welcome to the group! If anyone knows where to find GT/CSs it's certainly us.

Are you looking for a project car, a driver, or a restored car?
Color, engine, transmission.
And the big question; what is your budget?

You may want to browse the classifieds on this site to see what color you find interesting. Here are some of the cars from our show in Lincoln, Nebraska a few years ago.
I know of a restored Gulfstream 289, auto car you can get for around $32K.

Here's the 2023 Calendar thread that shows other colors.

Thank You sir. Looking for a driver or an older restoration. My last fastback was a full nut and bolt restoration and I found myself not driving it as much because I was always worried about something happening to it. Is it possible to get a good driver for $25k? I liked most of those colors with the exception of the purple, white and beige.

The very best colour is Candy Apple Red. Of course I might be a little biased.
