CougarCJ,
I have a 1967 January and February issue of Motor Trend. the February issue has the Cougar as "car of the year". They are in fair condition with the cover falling off the January issue. Kinda a treasure trove of information from that era. Do you want the February issue? Yours for free if you want it! Give me your address! Maybe you can find this issue a good home!

Wow took you long enough...we were all waiting for ya!

A good friend and car guy that I have known for years called yesterday morning and practically begged me to please come to Phoenix. He and his wife had a traffic mishap and wrecked their car pretty bad.
Since I had nothing better to do, I hooked up the trailer and jumped on the 10 and drove out to Gilbert, Arizona.
Lou is 83 years young and his wife is in her 70's. They were in a situation, so I lent a hand.

No one was seriously hurt except for Lou's pride, he admitted that this was his first accident ever, where he was at fault. Not a bad record, to have 'one at fault accident' in 70 years of driving. The air bag did a number on his inner arm though.

I picked Lou and his wife up at his nephews home. They had to show me his nephew's car in the garage. A 1967 GT-500, that he purchased from the original owner in 1974. He also showed me a picture of what he claims is an honest to God, 1965 GT-350-R, which may or may not be true. I am leaning towards doubtful.
