    For Sale '68 California Special.

I am now in the process of moving to the Seattle area, and have temporary storage arranged (Thank you Rob), so will not be selling the car in the near future. There is just no way I can keep all the spare parts that would go with it together during a move, and don't really have time to show it...

    rear spring shackle removal

When I have ones stuck that bad, I spray penetrating oil on the threads and let them sit for a few days. Take the axle u-bolts off and lift the axle off the springs. Get out the big breaker bar and take the nuts off (it's handier if they just snap off). Use the biggest pry bar you have and pry...

    1968 X-code GTCS - Value?

Without seeing photos, and just going by your description, I'd jump on that deal. Finding someone that wants to take on a project that big is going to be tough. Steve

    New project. Not a Mustang

Sorry, but the first thing I thought of was "Hey, he's almost got the Bullitt chase scene there". Seriously, that looks like a nice project. It should be nice when finished, and another rare car. Steve

    . Carburetor CFM Chart

Nice explanation Rob. This is why, back in the 60's, tri-power's were popular. You had small CFM from the middle 2 barrel, for idle and just cruising around, and then as you needed more, the other 2 carbs would progressively come on. I had a Shelby Tri-Power with, IIRC, 3 325 cfm carbs, on a...

    1968 fog light switch

Hopefully you have a digital voltmeter. I would measure the terminals on the switch side of the plug with the switch in the "On" position (out). If you have any resistance, the switch is bad and acting as a heater element. I suspect this is what you'll find, based on your description. If the...
