    Stripes Paint Or Decals

Thanks. It looks like your accent stripe stops at the 1/4 extension. I was wondering if it was supposed to go up to the point of the spoiler or continue down the extension. I'm surprised it stops where it does. Steve

    Stripes Paint Or Decals

Hey Marty, can you post a straight on side shot of your car? Mine is supposed to have the accent stripe as well and I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and put it back on. I'd like a visual for the paint guy. Thanks. Steve

    Train Chasing...

Tim, my oldest son is an engineer for BN and ran trains in to Kettie (sp?) from Klamath Falls before transferring up to Seattle. He says it's a beautiful run. Have you ever been there? Steve

    1968 Early Cars

Robert, this would explain why so much of your car appears original without being listed as a CS on the Marti Report. I'm curious what your Marti lists as the order type. If it was an "engineering prototype", it seems there would be some sort of mention of it. Scott, do you know what that first...

i have a 1968 gtcs for sale it was rolled at 10mph

Just to throw the thread off track a little, even though we've discussed various details of most, if not all, CS specific identifiers on our cars at one time or another, a comprehensive list does run the risk of making it easier to build a clone that would pass inspection. In the Sunbeam Tiger...

    For Sale Gt Wheels

I have a set of 14 x 6 GT wheels, with GT center caps but no trim rings, that I'd like to get $200 for. They have been bead blasted and painted and look brand new. Offers considered as well, of course. Thanks. Steve

1968 Fake 1967 California Special for sale by Dealer

In the past, some have been upset that we've debated and questioned whether a car is a true CS or not, but it's to protect buyers from sellers like this guy. No one wants to spend $35k on a car that turns out to be worth $15K. I have no problem with clones/tributes/recreations, whatever you want...

    1968 Call for Help....

As Arlie said, the grill is missing the Marchal brackets and looks like it has the corral tabs. It's been replaced. If all they did is bondo over the fender holes, and you're willing to take the fenders off, you can drill through the bondo from the back side, with a tiny drill and patience...

Actually, back in the early 70's, if memory serves, there was a drag racer, Chi Chi Rodriguez I believe, that ran a 300 c.i. 6 cyl with a custom head made from 4V Cleveland heads. Steve
