That's the kicker. The pinch weld on this car is white (even though it should be black) so I'm not sure what the restorer was trying to represent with the overspray. I didn't realize the black paint was applied by hand. Does that mean it should have horizontal brush marks?

Well, they tried. I don't quite understand the overspray pattern on the underside. If the pinch weld is white why is there black overspray?? There are a lot of other little oddities.

Looks like he got the better end of that deal.

It’s a 289 with a 302 block. The 289 and 302 have the same bore so Ford used all 289 internals and heads.
