    1968 Fog Light Confusion!

Thanks. It was a "bucket list" item for me to do the EXP "repli-bute". Actually took it for a spin today... and the bias ply tires sure do provide a different road feel!

    1968 Fog Light Confusion!

x3, and why I did a custom job on the EXP to get this look... no pedestal, floating in the center of the grille a-la the original GT/CS look... find the square base to just look a bit klunky...

As noted, PM me an address and I'll send a few... usually 7-14 days to get there...

    1968 Headrests

Hmmm... the few sets I've worked with just slid in and out. The spring to hold the headrest in one of the 3 or 4 positions has detents, but never had it behave like a lock... Have had to do a similar trick to install, to get the double-U spring clip out of the way...

    1968 Headrests

You can pull the headrest out, but you would need to buy another sleeve/bracket. I have developed a bolt in kit, laser cut steel plates, all mounting hardware included with full written instructions to add 69s to a 68 seat. It can be done without reupholstering, but requires peeling the back...

    1968 Firewall insulation

I've never used glue, once the plugs are in, the heater or AC box in, and the steering column, etc. in place it stays in place...

    1968 A/C Vacuum Motors Question

I used it when restoring steering columns. Disassemble completely, removing the old dinged up sleeve on the accordion section, blast, paint, replace. The stuff works a treat to replace it...

    1968 Firewall insulation

Factory only used 3, if I recall right. One by the heater box, one up high in the middle above the fusebox, and one by the pedals... FMA shows a screw and washer and AMK provides it int eh lit, but never seen one on an original car or know where its supposed to go. One trick for installing is...

    1968 Car Show Judging

Interesting story. I find it odd how some folks get so wound up over a $15 piece of plastic (in general, few trophy's these days are wood/metal). As you could take the same set of cars, judge them at 10 different shows and get 10 differnt results its really kinda a nice pat on the back, but to...

    1968 A/C Vacuum Motors Question

They "can" be repaired, but I've never seen a kit. Difficulty is the tooling to split them open and reseal. Similar to the '68 air motor on the air cleaner base. I have a dozen or more on the shelf. I've tested many and they are a testament to how well Ford engineered parts back in the...

1968 New California Special T Shirt Design

Might be interested in a few more front only logo ones... wore out the last ones working on the cars and gave a few away... I would assume a "script version" would be out of the question due to FoMoCo copyright/legal issues...???

    1968 Suspension upgrade
