    1968 Gas Gauge Wire Feed

That's kind of what I was thinking and since there is only one female port I figured even I couldn't screw it up. :)

I have found NPD's prices to be on par or better than most others. A buddy at a shop back easy buys direct from Scott Drake and he said NPD is cheaper about half the time despite their SD discount. Here is a photo of off color paint. The small patch is a spot where weather strip was in place...

    1968 Gas Gauge Wire Feed

Scott you are right. I meant the sending units. I have a standard sending unit, but have the right hand feed/lead wire that is for the convenience group (two pronged). Can I use the standard sender with the convenience group wiring?

    1968 Gas Gauge Wire Feed

I bought new wiring and the RH feed is for a convenience group (two pin plug) and not standard gas gauge. Will this matter or will I be ok to use it with a standard gas gauge?

    1968 351 v 302

David - Thanks! very generous. I decided to stay with the 302 and a fairly stock build with original F heads that I will port match and remove the smog pump "nub" to help with exhaust flow. Funny thing though, my wife couldn't believe that I spent that much time to go full circle...

Rick - Thanks for your time to get this photographed and posted! As mentioned, I +1 your dedication to the hobby. Thanks again! I think that Richard's suggestions of the "+" trick will help tremendously in future searches. It would be nice if a user could specify a car and have a cookie...

    1968 351 v 302

OK - decisions, decisions...I was going to rebuild a 302 that I have (not original motor) for this J code I am working on. I have the correct 302 F heads - although dated in June of 68. Now that I am over budget (no surprise) I wanted to save some $ and thought about buying an Autozone...

    1968 Dual exhaust

Beautiful car - very jealous of the build sheet! I don't see anything specifying the exhaust type. The Mustang Restoration Guide by Corcoran and Davis show only single exhaust for C codes. But as mentioned, it could have been added by the dealer. One way to check it would be the hangers...

    1968 Brake Pedal Bracket Mounting

Richard - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! It makes complete sense now! I had the bracket BELOW the dash. No wonder it wasn't lining up! This is what happens when a car sits disassembled for 10 years!

Thanks for the "+" tip in their search engine. Regardless their engine is weak and their phone salesmen also hate it. When I ask about a part, I can hear them flipping pages to find it. Thanks for the note on the new paint formula. I will check on it. My experience has been hit and miss with...

WHAT?!?! I HATE their site! It doesn't return a damn thing correctly when it is searched. I even scrolled through the ENTIRE paint section! Neil - thanks for finding what I couldn't! Have you used this before? I just looked it up and it is listed as "dark blue metallic". Can anyone else...

    289 to a 347?

Rob - not any more - I am real good with yard work and take out garbage too! :D I am getting ready to build by 302 for the J-code I am working on - mind if I pick your brain? Bryce

1968 Power Steering Pump Teal color Paint Source

OK - the pump that Arlie so generously sent me has a tag for the "F" (Ford) pump and therefore should be metallic teal. I have picked up a rebuilt pump at the local Napa Auto. Three questions for our resident experts: 1) Were teal/Ford pumps used at San Jose? If so... 2) anyone know a ready...
