    1968 Help with drum brakes

When the axles are out also spin the wheel bearings. If they are loose or grinding replace them. Trust me, you don’t want to have a wheel bearing fail while driving on the highway, in the middle of nowhere. A machine shop should press the bearings on and off. If you have a vice, some...

For Sale Lime Gold GT/CS for Sale

I received a text from a GT/CS owner telling me that a friend of his wants to sell a Lime Gold & Black GT/CS. He's asking $25K but the price will probably end up somewhere between $20K and $25K. It's a T-code car that now has a 302. I'll post more photos later.

I assume you're referencing this. I have no idea how that happened. It must have been one of the garage gnomes.

    1968 GT/CS Advice sought

Flushing the brake system, replacing the wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Replacing the transmission fluid and filter. Replacing the hoses and belts, etc. I think you’re better off hauling the car, or renting a trailer and towing it. We definitely don’t mind too much information or too...

    . Rear Shocks

Didn't even break any shafts. I forgot that I have a nut-splitter so I used it on the bottom nuts. The impact wrench zipped the top nuts off with no trouble. On another topic, does the sound deadening shown in the photos look original or aftermarket? It seems to be one continuous sheet. I...

It’s air. I just haven’t installed the connector so it looks a little odd. It’s also a low profile version. AIRCAT 1/2" Compact Composite Impact Wrench https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FUZAGCQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-ZAcEbSW84J19

    1968 Possible Red Debut Car?

We know of at least two other extremely early cars with 74 DSOs. They also don’t show up as GT/CSs on the reports.

    . Rear Shocks

I don’t have an impact but I do have a breaker bar and a 3# hammer. Are the cordless electric impacts any good?

    . Rear Shocks

OK, I've got a bit of a conundrum on my hands. The top and bottom nuts on my rear shocks are rusted solid. I soaked them in penetrating oil to no avail, even using vice grips on the stud won't let me break the nuts loose. Have any of you run into this problem? Is it time to break out the Dremel?
