That is my assumption or at least what seems to be based on what I've seen.

I was curious to see what these cars looked like ... here are some pics... I could only find pics for one though Thanks again vintageracer these numbers were better than Barrett Jackson I think. "A red/red 4 speed C code CS that was supposedly stored in a barn in Tuscon for 20 years was...

Here we go... I found a place on the Shelbyautos.com site to check VIN status if a Shelby GT. I put in the VIN number from the window sticker above and it returned this... Shelby GT VIN Search VIN: 1ZVHT85H885129087 Vehicle: 2008 Ford Mustang Conv 5speed Color: Vista Blue Status: Enroute to...

I know what you mean here and I recently read an article on how all the new Shelby models are built and what the process is. Plaques vs VIN and who gets what. I am by no means arguing because I don't know if these cars are on dealer lots and I don't think the process is different thatn you...

Hi! Good info! See the thread on the Barrett Jackson cars for more detail but... The 390 only went for $18,000 - seller had it advertised at $37,000 That J-code that went for $40,000 sold for over $50,000 with commission in 2006 at BJ. The other CS at Barrett Jackson sold for $17,500 if...

OK I have a message into my Ford salesman. He already thinks I'm nuts so that's OK. I keep buying cars from him ever few years so hopefully he'll humor me. His dealer has a 2008 Vista Blue GT Convertible with the Upfitters package when I search inventory from the Ford site. Sounds like it's...

That's what I thought too Steve. So not sure why they show up in dealer inventory online. Unless they aren't physically at the dealer yet but it is part of their allotment that's coming. Again I'm basing this on experiences people have posted at other forums. I never was crazy about the...

According to other Mustang Forums the posts there have indicated that these cars are on Dealer lots awaiting shipment to Shelby to become Shelby GTs. If you notice it's only on Black and White cars. Also you will notice it tells you only about what happens if it is a white or black exterior...

no problem - good luck!

I don't think it goes over 10,000. Looking at the additional pics it needs work. The interior needs a full replacement, some rust in the floorpans. No pics of the underside, frame etc so that would be something to get a better look at. It's not a total project it has hope if it finds the...

Hey JBart, From what I have read that's exactly what it is. It's an option that is added on white and black GTs that are destined to be sent to Shelby to become Shelby GTs Here is what I've seen as the package... It doesn't say it here but I thought it also included the spoiler and floormat...

I think it's Lime Gold too. A few pics the lighting makes it look like Sunset Gold but I'm going with Lime too.

Hi Casey, That is true if you're using the Adobe PDF software. But MS-Word 2007 now offers an option to "Save As" a file type of pdf. I had Adobe writer on my work computer but not at home. Now with Word 2007 at home I have the option to save as a pdf. I happened to stumble upon it one day...
