    Mustang Monthly

I just finished reading it myself. I'll try to scan it in later. Nice car!! History in the article was pretty accurate. A few things were off but much more accurate than some other articles I've read. The 2 things I noted were they said Marchal/Lucas lights were dependent upon supply and...

    I want I want...

Hi! There is no way to tell from the VIN The Vin should start with 8R01 but that doesn't tell you it's a Special. The 8R01 will tell you it's a 68 (8) and was built in San Jose (R) as a coupe (01). If it doesn't start with 8R01 you know it's definitley not a CS. To prove it's a CS the...

Mailer: What would you like to ask GT/CS Owners?

Thanks Paul! That helps!! One other thought. I would be interested in the current condition of the cars in the registry. Either a scale of 1-5 that many of us are used to. Or phrases - needs restoration, restored, concours, etc ... I'd would just hope that people are honest in their answers.

    Where were you on 9/11

My wife and I were on our way to work about 40 minutes north of Manhattan. It was a beautiful clear day not a cloud in the sky. When I heard the first report of a plane hitting my wife asked if I thought it was on purpose. I recalled the story of planes flying into the Empire State Building...

Mailer: What would you like to ask GT/CS Owners?

 Glad it wasn't just me. I kept saying "damn I lost my place again" Paul, On the first section are you asking this only for things that we believe are original to the car or the current state of the car? For example: -- Fog Lights: Marchal / Lucas / Nothing Do you have a...

Crazy Ideas for celibrating 40 years of our CS's

Just thought I'd chime in for the East Coast folks who haven't said much on this thread. While each Eastern state might not have a lot of cars, the East Coast in general (unscientifically) has the following CS/HCS cars. Florida - 17 Ohio - 11 ( a stretch for the east coast but close in...
