thanks guys!

Congrats and welcome to the site... I had the chance recently to drive my nephew's new 07 GT in Grabber Orange (not a GT/CS) ... very nice...

No longer for sale ... auction was ended early. Did someone from the site buy it?

Oh boy ... I'm so biting my tongue right now and not saying what I'm thinking ... It's along the line of ... "show me yours and I'll show you mine" :lipsseal: :lipsseal: :lipsseal: :lipsseal: :lipsseal: :lipsseal: :icon_no:

That's interesting. Here for out of state cars just a document from the other state is needed such as a title or other doc. They don't look at the actual car itself.

Based on the area code it does look like Illinois.

Just curious about the process in other states. I've seen a number of threads over the last few months where people are talking about getting their cars "inspected" by DMV and other state officials. Does the DMV in other states actually look at ("inspect") the actual car? In NY, for...

Thanks for the pics and info!

I let the real owner know about this site hopefully he comes by to check it out

The car didn't sell, the auction ended at $13,003 with reserve not met. What makes you say the Buy It Now is $16,000? There is (wasn't) a Buy It Now on this auction. Was there?

Tim, Yeah someone was very interested in finding out more about the tri-tip in that other thread. That is a VERY tempting and GENEROUS offer!!! I wish I could take you up on it but unfortunately I have another commitment that weekend. I'll take a raincheck though.

Neil, I contacted the owner from the Old Car Trader ad. The eBay ad definitely was not his and was a scam. Someone gave eBay a heads up on the ad and they pulled it

I contacted the owner through the Old Car Trader site. The eBay ad was not his and was a scam. The info above proves that by the reply from the eBay seller.

Sorry to hear about your trouble with the paint. Get it right the first time though so you have no regrets. Good Luck and keep us posted please!

Happy Birthday D!! Someday you might catch up to the age of your CS ... or not  :icon_heyb :thumb: :thumb: :thumb::icon_heyb :thumb: And Happy Birthday to 07_GTCS while we're at it :thumb:

Good catch Arlie. It's the same car and the text of the car was taken from the old car trader ad. The zero feedback is a big caution for me. Is that a New Mexico license plate in the picture?
